halloween spending scarier then the costumes

Nobody realizes just how much money is spent before the night of halloween. Typically the kids expecially dont know or even worry about the price of candy, decorating, costumes exc.... but the parents and adults are fully aware. The hard economics America is facing wont even scare away the crazy money spending on this holiday. The expected amount of teh cost of this years halloween is 6.86 billion dollars at the highest A single person is averaged to spend about 72 dollars for this one holiday compared to other years about 7 % more people are participating in this years Halloween from last year. This is the highest amount of money being spent in about 9 years of celebrating this national holiday. An average person last year spent around 66 dollars indiviudally. This hoiday may be fun but in the long run is not beneficial to an individuals wealth. Halloween wont just have you scared by costumes and such but running away for your money. So is Halloween worth it to you??

I think a nation of immigrants is like being a very diverse nation surrounded by many different ethnicities and cultures. The people who have the will power to leave their homeland and start a new life must posses incredible courage and determination. They must be able to have the nerve to leave everything they had behind to go to a area that may seem alienistic to them for the benefit of their family. To change everything they know about their culture to be involved in another is impressive and should be applauded for many of us have no idea the struggle and pursuit it takes to leave the place we love.
These traits of individuals have shaped America today in the way that it makes the country as a whole stronger. Every person is able to leave and has the courage to start a completely a new life and yet very few will do so the fact that America is shaped around immigrants shows the tolerance and courage they have to accept the immigrants and their new ways. I feel that American culture is incredibly important not only for us but them. They gain the freedom to continue and bring in their new vultures to America while we get the benefit of learning about them and their education. In America one of the great thongs is being able to learn so much from other cultures we would never know without immigration! I do not really feel connected to my 19 th century ancestry that were immigrants because I do not know very much about them. I really want to learn though for I am incredibly interested in my past!

Faces of america

I think the video was very influential on not only the individuals in the movie but also the viewers. The movie itself was very well done and I wa incredibly interested by each of the actors ancestry.it really opened my eyes to the fact that every individual has such different pasts of their family. I loves being able to see them discover the lives of their family and I actually felt like I was in the movie. Seeing this movie really helped open my eyes to all the things you don't know about the ancestry of your family and how much their is to learn!!
This movie is passing along the knowledge that every individual can learn about their family and learn so much more than they think they already know. It's truly inspiring to know that all that information is right in front of you and the only thing necessary to discover it is to take a little time to research. I had never seen a movie like this before that was so relatable and realistic! Faces of America is a well done movie that will influence all generations to learn about their ancestry and to have knowledge that an individual never knew!!!!
